Mayfield Gin features a hearty helping of Sussex Hops at the core of its botanical selection - the variety they chose for the gin was originally discovered growing wild in a Sussex hedgerow before hop farmer Andrew Hoad nurtured and cultivated the plucky hop.

Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin is made to a recipe with eight natural botanicals, including juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, orris, liquorice and uniquely, Sussex Hops - a variety discovered growing wild in hedgerows in Sussex, which brings an amazing citrus and hop character to our fabulous gin.

Tasting Notes

Peppery at first - juniper once again up front, though now with pine and cardamom backing it up, making for a savoury palate. Orange zest cuts through cleanly.
